  • Bonding agent,
  • Contains pH color indicator,
  • Protects from lime scale
Lignum Plius

Product advantages

Lignum Plius
  • Lignum Plius is a strong oxidizer with a colour indicator.
    Solution's pH may be determined based on the colour of solution (pH meter is not required).
  • Some of the pesticide active substances are only stable in acidic medium, which results in them degrading in neutral (pH 7) or alkaline medium (pH ˃ 7) causing a drop in pesticide effectiveness. Before spraying such pesticides, the water used for the solution should be treated to pH 5-6.
  • Bonding agent.
    Solutions do not bounce off plant’s surface as much, they stick and spread better which results in higher solution’s efficiency.
  • Water softener.
    Water hardness is conditioned by ions of calcium Ca2+ and magnesium Mg2+. The active agents contained in Lignum Plius bond ions of calcium and magnesium, rendering them incapable of affecting pesticide efficiency.
  • Sprayer protection from lime scale.
Application rates
Preparing and storing the solution

If no pH meter is used (or the agent is used for the first time):

  • Take a transparent or white bucket of known capacity (e.g. 10 l). You should be able to clearly see changes in the solution’s color while in it.

  • Fill it with water you intend to use for spraying.

  • Measure the known amount of Lignum Plius (e.g. 10 m). Use a 10 ml syringe or measuring cup.

  • Slowly drip Lignum Plius into the water and mix intensively to spread the product evenly.

  • After noticing its color has turned orange, check the amount of agent left in the measuring syringe/measuring cup.

  • Calculate the amount of used agent accordingly. Write down the amount of agent used and recalculate the amount for 100 l of water.

Example of the calculations:

You poured 5.7 ml of Lignum Plius into 10 l of water and its color turned orange. This indicates that you should add 5.7 ml x 10 = 57 ml of Lignum Plius into 100 l of water

Calculation of application rates using a water pH meter:

Measure the pH of water intended for spraying and select a suitable application rate in the table below:

pH of water

Amount of Lignum Plius, g (100 l of water in order pH to reach 5,5)

Application rates of Lignum Plus may vary depending on the water and other agents used in the solution and how their chemical properties affected the solution’s pH.

Color indicator’s scale:

Attention: yellow color indicates that the water’s pH is more than 7;

Optimal: orange color indicates that the water’s pH is 5.5;

Attention: dark red color indicates that the water’s pH is less than 4.

  • Fill half of the sprayer’s tank with water and turn on mixing. Add the required amount of Lignum Plius. Following manufacturer’s recommendations, add pesticides or fertilizers. Fill the sprayer tank full with the remaining amount of water; mix continuously.
  • Ready-to-use solution must be used within 24 hours.
  • Before making the mixture, read the pesticide label carefully and make sure no restrictions on the use of additives are specified.
