pH AntiBor

Product contains organic and inorganic acid complex which effectively acidifies spraying solutions containing boron. Furthermore, slightly acidifies solutions containing other plant protection products. Increased acid concentration permits not only lower application rates but bonds Ca and Mg ions as well, thus reducing water hardness. Product contains a color indicator which allows determining solution’s pH.

Color indicator’s scale:

Attention: yellow color indicates that the water’s pH is more than 7;

Optimal: orange color indicates that the water’s pH is 5.5;

Attention: dark red color indicates that the water’s pH is less than 4.

 

Application rates
Preparing and storing the solution

When preparing mixtures with boron fertilizers: 250-300 ml/100l of water or 0.2-0.3% concentration.

When preparing mixtures without boron fertilizers: 30-50 ml/100 l of water or 0.03-0.05% concentration

Application rates depend on water hardness - the harder the water (containing more Ca, Mg ions), the higher the application rate of pH AntiBor is required. It is mandatory to observe the changes in solution’s color which depict solution’s pH. In the case of solution’s components changing the initial solution’s color and pH, using a pH meter instead is advised.

 

Testing the compatibility of all mixing ingredients (residues, layering and other) in a small vessel is advised. When mixing in a sprayer’s tank, it is mandatory to retain the same proportions. Fill half of the sprayer’s reservoir with clean water and then add boron containing fertilizer. Depending on the changes in color due to color indicator, add the required amount of pH AntiBor. This will ensure the correction in water’s pH before alkaline water affects chemical components.

Afterwards, depending on the recommendations available in other products’ labels, add other mixture components as well as the remaining water. Depending on the changes in color due to color indicator, add the required amount of pH AntiBor.  In the case of solution’s components changing the initial solution’s color and thus not allowing to determine the current solution pH, use of pH meter is advised.
