UAB “Nando“ is a Lithuanian company engaged in the production of a range of chemical products for use in the agricultural sector: surfactants to help plants absorb nutrients, accelerate growth and yield. The main customer of UAB “Nando“ is a Lithuanian capital company, which exports part of its production abroad. With the change of direction of this Lithuanian capital company, UAB “Nando“ will take over the main export function. The company has not yet started a systematic and targeted export development. In order to penetrate foreign markets, it is necessary to ensure a targeted start-up and sustained investment. EU support would increase the return on investment of the project, reduce implementation risks, expand the scope of the idea and improve its quality.

The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of UAB “Nando“ on foreign markets by presenting the company’s products at 7 international exhibitions. During the implementation of the project, the company intends to participate in the most popular international agricultural exhibitions attracting potential customers from the target markets (Romania, Georgia, Great Britain, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Sweden and other countries).

It is expected that by participating in a project financed by EU funds and the company’s own contribution, the company will be able to successfully launch its expansion into foreign markets. With the EU support for the project activities, export revenues are expected to increase by more than 96% by 2018 compared to 2015 (the first year after the end of the project), and the share of exports in the company’s sales structure is expected to grow significantly.
